The nickname my friends have for me is:
Maas, Maasa, Mana
In high school , a friend of mine used to call me Maasi in a funny way. Gradually, it changed in to different forms; Maas and Maasa. Another friend took it to yet another level and started calling me Manam.
My first celebrity crush was:
Will smith, and he still is!
The funniest outfit I’ve ever worn was:
A really colourful outfit with pops and patches of colours for a shoot and I was made up into this glass doll by the make-up artist. It was a lot of fun!

I like all-white clothes. White linen pants and a collar down loose white shirt.
My weirdest phobia is:
A phobia I always have had but is much better now is, if I don’t look outside the airplane window, there will be turbulence during the flight. There was always a need to be alert and I was not able to sleep. I have much longer flights now and have pretty much overcome this fear.
The sport I am great at is:
I was good in sports generally, but I can play Tennis well.
My best stress reliever is:
Good food and a movie.
When I wake up in the morning, I always do these two things:
Thank God. And, look for Mohib!
The best prank I’ve ever played on someone was:
My extended family is from Gujranwala. I have two brothers who don’t live here in Pakistan. One is in New York, the other is in Chicago. They were getting married and we had wedding functions in Karachi, London and New York. We also had to do one function in Gujranwala. I reached there before everyone else and came up with an idea. My brothers lived most of their lives abroad, so hadn’t been to Gujranwala in ages. I asked my cousins to get that Suzuki box kind of car and kidnap the grooms midway and bring them to Gujranwala. The idea was to surprise them with dhol, music and bhangra as soon as they make it there. Everythig went as it was planned, but today I think it was a stupid idea to pull off this prank as I think of things that could go wrong executing it.
If I could pick four people to have dinner with, dead or alive, I’d choose:

The quality I most likes in a woman:

The embarassing moment that still makes me cringe was when I:
Completely blanked out during a dance performance. But I guess I pulled it off and improvised my steps. I waited with bated breath for reviews, and thank god no one noticed. And, I will not tell you where this was.
When I want to feel confident, I put on:
The best gift I’ve ever been given was:
There are quite a few:
One is the diamond ring I am wearing which I got last year on nine years into marriage. And, this Longines watch my father gave me when I started working.
There is one more really special one, when Mohib won his first International Award in 2009 in UK. He was being called out as the winner and instead of going to the stage first, he takes out this thing and puts it in front of me. I opened to find out this necklace which is a star and he had got Aamina written across it! Precious!
If I weren’t an actress/model, I’d be a:
Companionship. Marriage not a smooth ride; it’s a very dynamic journey and very much like life. It’s got its highs and lows. It’s like dance!
The comfort food I most crave:
The best compliment I’ve been given was:
What touches my heart most is when someone tells me that my performance or role made them totally relate to. When that happens I feel very reassured and humbled. Thank God, because of my work I have had many generous things said to me. There are so many that I can’t pick out one.
The best pick-up line ever used on me:
In college this Latino guy came up to me said something really smart, which I can’t exactly recall, but he started off with something and said “… because you are like classical music”. Though it didn’t work on me, but I was swept away by the poetry of it.
