While none of us is still ready to see Mufasa dying but, The Lion King, is undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated movie of the year. The live-action adventure takes us to the African savanna where a future king (Simba) is born, but not everyone in the kingdom excited with the news. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama. Time to fall in love again, and brave your heart from crying out loud to see the struggles of your beloved little cub, but that’s okay. Because in the CGI re-imagining of the 1994 Disney classic, Donald Glover starts as Simba and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, what more can you ask for?

2. Avengers: Endgame (Release Date: April 24, 2019)
The movie is so badly anticipated that the creators even kept its title under the covers for very long. Thanos has wiped half the universe out of existence and is chilling somewhere. Now we wait for our remaining heroes to pick up the pieces and return the world to its former glory. While nobody knows how this enormous story will finally conclude, but it’s sure to be one of the biggest pop culture moments in the movie history.

3. Spider-Man: Far From Home (Release Date: July 5, 2019)
The Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Spider-Man’s trailer has instantly won over the audiences. The movie will be the direct follow-up to Avengers, scheduled to hit theatres in April this year. Our web-crawling hero, this time finds himself trying to save his friends against a villain known as Mysterio, while on a vacation to Europe. As for us, we’re just excited to see Tom Holland put on that mask yet again!

4. Once Upon a Time In Hollywood (Release Date: July 26, 2019)
Better known as Quentin Tarantino’s California movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood takes us back to a moment in history when the movie industry’s glitz was splattered with blood. The story revolves around a faded TV actor and his longtime stunt double, who attempt to establish their careers in Tinsel Town. With a stellar cast, the project is described as humorous, serious, spooky and playful.

5. Shazam! (Release Date: April 5, 2019)
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. After giving two back to back horror hits: Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation, director David F. Sandberg returns with a DC superhero flick about a 14-year-old foster kid (Billy Batson), who receives the power to transform into an adult hero Shazam, with the powers of super-strength, flight, and more. Teenage Billy Batson will be played by Asher Angel, while Chuck‘s Zachary Levi stars as Shazam himself.

6. Men in Black International (Release Date: June 14, 2019)
The Men in Black franchise is continuing with a spinoff movie that shifts focus away from Will Smith’s Agent J and Tommy Lee Jones’s Agent K to a new generation of suit-sporting enforcers, Chris Hemsworth (Agent H) and Tessa Thompson (Agent M). Much to the delight of Marvel movie fans, the lead cast is serving as a quick reunion from 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. Rebecca Ferguson joins the main duo as a co-star, playing a character whose details remain a mystery.

7. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga (Release Date: February 1, 2019)
Shelly Chopra Dhar’s directorial, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, has created considerable buzz as it brings together the father-daughter duo of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anil Kapoor, on screen for the very first time. The movie name got its inspiration from the lyrics of the iconic song from the yesteryear’s movie, 1942: A Love Story. The story revolves around the life of an unhappily married woman who discovers her father’s infidelity with her co-worker through a series of quirky encounters.

Bilal Lashari’s much anticipated directorial venture, a continuation of Nasir Adib’s original series that began in 1975, has been in the news since the reboot was announced for the Lollywood’s golden saga. Boasting the crème de la crème of Pakistan’s entertainment sphere, the cult classic is bound to be a blockbuster with everyone’s favourite squad. Fans are excited about the project because Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi will be reprising the iconic characters for avatars they’ve never been seen in before. The movie is scheduled to release in Pakistan and China simultaneously.

10. Parey Hut Love! (Release Date: Eid-ul-Adha, 2019)

The film set in Pakistan and Europe, tells the story of an unlikely romance between a young free-willed, commitment-phobic guy and a beautiful, strong-willed woman as they happen to meet and fall in love over a series of unplanned encounters.
