Iman became the muse of A-list fashion designers at home and across the border, and her name guaranteed success.

The Rebirth of Anarkali

Iman rose to fame in mere five years of her entry into the world of glitz and glamour. Her classic traditional eastern looks and elusive beauty caught eye of Shoman, Shoaib Mansoor, who gave her the role of Anarkali, in his music video, Ishq Mohabbat Apna Pan. The video became a rage; people couldn’t get enough of the stunning Anarkali, who looked every bit part of the historical setting. The glamorous model made a strong impression with her brilliant performance and depicted an enigmatic charm of the famous courtesan of Mughal era. The music video had made her a household name; she is still fondly referred as Anarkali.
